The Question:

i was wondering if you could help me a question about supplements. I'm 15 years old and have recently started lifting and I have been playing ice hockey for about a year now. I was wondering if I should start taking supplements eg. creatine. Some of my friends have taken it and said they have gained muscle fast. Should I start taking creatine or wait a while.
Also what exercises could I do to improve flexibilty. I'm not very flexible and would like to be pretty much "gumby like" by next season. Could that be done?

The Answer:

If you train hard, don't miss workouts, sleep 10 hours every night, and eat 6 times every day I would say you are ready for creatine. However, if you are not very consistent with everything I mentioned above then taking creatine isn't really going to help you! It's up to you now!

Here is the address for a good stretching program I put together.

You can go here and view videos of each one of the exercises. Do this stretching routine twice per day. Once before your workout and once after your workout! This will help you transform yourself into Gumby!
