The Question:

I just reviewed my workout schedule. What I'm unclear on is how often do I perform each workout. The color (light blue) indicates each day of the week. Do I lift weights each day of the week and alternate the workouts 1 and 2? Or do I perform only two workouts the entire week?

The Answer:

The colors for each week simply indicate how "hard" that week's workouts are going to be (there is a workout difficulty legend on the right hand side of the calendar). Although the color is across the entire week, only perform your workouts when the day shows a workout. So if you are on a 2 day per week workout program, you should only workout twice each week. Wherever you see "Workout 1", "Workout 2", etc. on your calendar - these are your workout days. Click on the workout text (e.g. "Workout 1") and it will take you straight to your workout for that day. If you want to learn more about periodization, check out this link:

I hope I haven't confused you too much! Thanks for your question. Workout hard and have fun!
